Between the Easter Bunny and ongoing celebrations for birthdays, Isaac has enjoyed all the chocolate and gifts! Isaac loves singing happy birthday and making cupcakes. He was also super stoked with the Easter egg hunt, and was able to find all the eggs. Isaac was well looked after by his older cousins over Easter weekend.
This month was full. Isaac got sick over St Patty’s day – and cuddled with mommy and daddy for a weekend, hardly moving or talking (!!). But we still packed in two trips to the sugar bush, a visit to the museum of Science and Technology, the Experimental Farm, the library, toy library playgroup, swimming, playdates with friends and cousins, an end of season ski, and a few trips to the park. Topping it all off with a visit from Opa and Oma, including a family dinner with Uncle Greg and Zavier and their girlfriends. They all babysat while Lindy and Jon went out to celebrate Lindy’s birthday with a night of axe throwing!
Isaac continues to keep us giggling with his constant narration of events and funny little comments. He’s a potty training champ, only wearing diapers to sleep now. He can now count to 10, and sing the alphabet song with a few missing letters. He shortens the songs to avoid repetition – already concise and efficient – traits much appreciated by Jon. 😉
