Jon and Lindy checked another item off the bucket list in 2015 by travelling to Costa Rica.
How to sum up such a jam-packed adventure filled trip…? FANTASTIC.
With so much to see, it was non-stop from the volcano in Arenal, to the cloud forest in Monteverde, to the surfing beach town of Santa Teresa. Modes of transportation included shuttle buses, horse back riding, ferry boats, and hiking. Accommodations included a hostel, jungle lodge, Air B&B, and a San Jose hotel. Activities included waterfall rappelling, white water rafting, volcano hot springs, cloud forest zip lining, orchid garden tour, night walking tour to see the jungle life, surfing, snorkeling, eating burritos and lots of walking! A little bit of relaxing was squeezed in there too, with a stop at the mountain side infinity pool with swim-up bar overlooking the ocean.
