After our family holiday at the cottage, Lindy took Isaac and cousin Zavier to visit Opa and Oma up near North Bay for a few days. Thank goodness for Zavier’s help entertaining Isaac in the car as it would have been a much longer trip without him! Isaac must have been teething, because the first day and a half of the trip were pretty brutal with Isaac crying most of the time and refusing to nap…but luckily we didn’t get evicted and things got better (after a little Tylenol and a sleep on the boat ride!) Isaac had fun playing in the water, sleeping in the hammock and looking at the flowers. He especially enjoyed listening to Opa play the piano and was serenated to sleep the second night. We were on varied schedules, with Lynn busy with rehearsals for her upcoming shows in the evening, and Zavier sleeping most of the days – but we managed to enjoy some time in the water, good meals and some happy hours all together.
