From Thanksgiving to Halloween

We had a lot of rain this October so the trips to the park have tapered off a bit, although Isaac was still a little slave-driver with wanting to cut down the garden everyday: “mommy tool, cut…tool cut…tool cut!”

We had a few more firsts this month – a first hair cut for photo day at daycare, a first trip to CHEO because of a swollen face after a black fly bite, a first trip to Saunders Farm and to the Children’s museum, and a first time carving pumpkins! Isaac loved handing out candy on Halloween. “More kids! Door ding, more kids”.

Isaac is 20 months old this week! He’s still full of energy, and is now talking up a storm. He’s starting to form sentences, and putting concepts together. His memory is incredible, and he often sums up his day for us while getting ready for bed. He’s extremely helpful these days, washing dishes, unloading the dishwasher, helping with laundry. Isaac has started enjoying watching you tube – and is very repetitive with his tastes – watching the wheels on the bus over and over…and over…and over.
