Moving up! 18 months old

Isaac isn’t a baby anymore…he’s officially moved up to the toddler room at daycare, and has outgrown the infant car seat too at 22lbs and 31 inches tall, and a few more teeth. His vocabulary is ever-expanding and he can point out many things in books when asked. He loves making the siren noise for fire trucks, knows many animal noises, and has started to play hide and seek. He’s beginning to string thoughts together, often with commands for where people should sit. It seems that every day there is something new.

We had a good month, with a weekend at Opa and Oma’s house near North Bay, visits with Grandma, Papa and cousins, and more time at the cottage. Jon and Isaac have had a few more days  together while Lindy worked some overtime, and is now back to a more regular work schedule since summer is over – missing out on all the fun! And of course, as soon as the temperature went below 10 degrees – Isaac’s nose became a fountain again, along with his first cold of the season.
