Outdoor Fun

Although the weather has been up and down – we’ve been outside. Isaac loved the weekend at the cottage, playing in the sand and trying to stay out of the water. Jon and Greg (and even Zavier) have been working hard on finishing the shed.

There were a couple really hot days before the long weekend, so Lindy and Isaac biked over to the park and the splash pad was open already! This summer will be a blast checking out all the splash pads around us, Lindy couldn’t keep Isaac out of it! Not expecting it to be open yet, we weren’t prepared so luckily Isaac makes fast friends and another mom gave us a pull-up diaper to change into for the ride home.

Isaac is still loving daycare – with so many friends and they do so many fun activities. It is often hard to get him to leave. He even made Lindy some gifts for Mother’s Day! We also enjoyed a bbq at Sam and Jeremy’s for Mother’s Day with Grandma and Papa. Isaac loved exploring the yard while Charlotte and Isabelle were doing cartwheels and climbing trees. It won’t be long before he can keep up to them!

Oma and Opa visited for the long weekend and babysat Isaac while Lindy was working and Jon went to the cottage to work. They may have been long days – but everyone had fun! Opa even got some snuggles at nap time.

This past weekend, Lindy and Zavier ran the mud hero again  – and that just might be enough mud for a while… 🙂 Isaac got to hang out with Glenna again briefly after another champion nap, after missing her visits for the past couple months. Then it was off to the Community Day in the park with the neighbours, and then to a friend’s for a bbq – making for a very busy day – but Isaac is a trooper and played well with the other kids.
