During the summer of 2014, Lindy had the opportunity to crew on a shark in two national regattas – the Shark Canadians at Britannia Yaght club, and the Women’s National Keelboat Championship at Pointe Claire near Montreal.
The crew sailed together in club races on Thursday evenings all summer to practice sailing together for the regattas. Marie Gendron as skipper, Debbie Reinhart in pit and Lindy on foredeck. Although the experience was intense at times, Lindy loved being part of the team with these two more experienced female sailors.
