Ho Ho Ho Holidays

It was a very Merry Christmas this year! Isaac was really excited about Santa, and although he didn’t like sitting on his knee – he did want to ask Santa for a pair of scissors – to cut cut cut! Luckily Santa heard him anyway, and Isaac was well spoiled on Christmas morning, and again by family and friends 🙂 Our toy library visits won’t be necessary for awhile now, with so many new cool things to play with.

Best of all – Isaac had a blast playing with family, cousins and friends over the holidays, and especially many visits with his grandparents! Isaac loved spending so much time at home with us, baking cookies with mommy, and working with tools with daddy. We also went swimming, visited the museum of nature, went sledding and had lots of playdates. But mostly – Isaac enjoyed just staying home!

He became quite attached to us and has had a fairly big sleep regression, only resting if we nap with him, and fights bedtime by falling asleep sitting up before he falls over… But he’s also trying to potty train! Refusing to wear a diaper or clothes, Isaac has successfully used the potty several times now. When he misses, he also loves to help clean up with the swifer.

Isaac is 22 months old, 22 lbs, and speaking in full sentences now. He’s a little rascal, playing peekaboo, hiding things, loves being chased and caught, and has starting singing songs. Every day is something new.

Happy new year!
