More summer fun, camping and cottaging

Better late than never…the 17 month update is past overdue.

Isaac is almost a year and a half old now, and the last couple months have been jam packed and flew by!

Isaac has been learning so much, and his new abilities are developing exponentially. He talks all the time, saying the first syllable of more words every day, repeating most words we ask him to. He seems to be more and more interested in potty training, having peed on the potty three times now.

Isaac’s favourite things now are to watch the garbage truck go by, sit in the front seat of the cars and push all the buttons and levers, vacuum and sweeping, playing in the sand, cleaning the bbq, and splashing in the bathtub. He was been lucky to visit with Vincent and Sandra here from BC, Zac visiting from NYC, and spend lots of time with cousin Zavier who was in Ottawa more this summer.

Between the trips to the cottage, family bbq’s and bbq’s with friends – Isaac has been enjoying daycare. Better yet, Isaac loved our weekend at Sandbanks, camping in a tent, chasing seagulls, digging holes in the sand, and splashing in the waves. Most of all, Isaac loved pushing his cousin Hank around in his dump truck.

Hard to believe that summer is almost over!
